This week a good friend of mine let me know about this great cause, and I thought I should share with all of you :)  Many women struggle with the idea of dressing modest while still being able to maintain a unique and covetable style; Fashion Fighting Famine empowers women that it can be done!  I decided to put a simple and modest look together that can be worn day or night, especially to the FFF fashion show!  Since it's spring, I grabbed for these pastel skinny jeans and crocheted tank for added texture.  To give it a modest vibe, I topped the look off with a cream blazer, leopard belt, and simple heels.  My accessories were kept minimal with my tsfd Swarovski hand chain.  Being covered head-to-toe is nothing short of stylish. I believe it's this type of dressing that allows true style to shine and real beauty to show through.
  
Each year FFF has thrown a fashion show dedicated to both designers, women, and remarkable style.  This year's charitable cause is One Laptop Per Child (OLPC).  Their mission is to provide children all over the world with access to the educational tools they need and deserve.  OLPC even designed a laptop that can function in the most rugged regions in the world - now that is something else! As a strong proponent of education and healthy child development, this cause is worth noting.

 I LIVE in these shorts when the weather heats up. So comfy and fun to dress with. Lately time has been flying by, my etsy shop has been open (for what seems like forever) for 5 months! I have some amazing Swarovski hand chains coming very soon, I can wait to show you all more. Some detail shots of what I wore to the Melrose Trading Post/shopping around LA with some friends. A bit of a disheveled mix given the unexpected cold weather. and my lack of closed toe shoes. and one pair of pants to work with. But hey, I like it like that.

I told you I would be back! I got this skirt during Easter weekend; for some reason, Forever 21 stayed open (way to capitalize). I really love the shade and texture, and I am definitely looking forward to wearing it again and again! Seems like the easiest thing to pull out of my closet is anything neon/bright to stay in tune with the Spring season. And I am certainly not complaining.
