This is certainly a long over due post, but as they say, better late than never! Back in June I was invited to attend the Fashion Fighting Famine fashion show fundraiser to cover the event and take in a few debuting lines. Their message encourages women to think outside of traditional clothing, and embrace fashion to allow individualism without sacrificing their beliefs. I was honestly blown away at how beautiful and modern some of looks turned out as they made their way down the runway. It was a mix of funky and urban influences with a touch of sparkle. Some of the beadwork was just insane (see 3rd & 4th pic from bottom). All in all, it was a pleasant evening with a real-life mock-bazaar to boot.
